Meet Jordan Dysart – Our New Android Developer!

Youth in Technology at Vision Quest

After our President, Darrick Baxter co-presented at the 2016 Vision Quest conference in Winnipeg Manitoba, he met with the audience and an amazing University of Manitoba Computer science student named Jordan.

“I meet interesting people everyday and enjoy listening to their remarkable stories. When Jordan introduced himself and eloquently explained his previous summer job in robotics – I knew he was a true technologist and invited him to our App Development office for an interview.”  – Darrick Baxter

New Native Language App Developer

Meet Jordan, our android developer! Jordan is an Indigenous university student from South Indian Lake specializing in computer science. Jordan has worked among Indigenous youth teaching them about robotics and providing direction to advanced robotic design and simulation software to bring robots to life! He also believes in preserving our communities languages and is working each day here in our office to develop language apps for our android users! Jordan uses technology for positive change within our Indigenous communities, get like Jordan! Inspiring youth to use technology for the betterment of their communities.

South Indian Lake First Nation

Jordan is from South Indian Lake First Nation and often returns to the region for traditional gatherings.  His connection to the community, elders and youth make him an excellent role model for the young people and the pride of all First Nation communities.
